I’ve thrown my fair share of baby showers. Because of my friends’ baby booms and resulting party hosting, I quickly got to know my way around Paper Source, which came in handy by the time I planned my wedding. Simon + Kabuki, a Northern California-based design company owned and operated by two moms, makes the task of organizing much easier, with packages and designs that are fun and clever but not overly cutesy.
Simon + Kabuki has offered a limited edition baby shower kit valued at $120 to give away. This ensemble has all the supplies you need for a 24-person party, except for the food and drink you’ll serve, and the guests themselves. I find myself in a baby boom as well! I have 6 close friends and family members that are expecting. I have been asked to help out with a few of the showers for the expecting moms — from just doing favors to the whole she-bang. Would *love* to get a jump start on at least one event with a great kit like this!!
I have actually been to some great showers which is why i am now so nervous about throwing my own! This giveaway is such an adorable set and would give me such a great jump start on the party!

Hmm, I seem to remember someone throwing me an awesome baby shower with food from my favorite LA bakery, chocolate-dipped macaroons, and amazing tea! ;-)
My other baby shower featured some really interesting sandwich combos like goat cheese w/ nori, which I’ve always meant to reproduce but haven’t. Also mismatched Limoges china bought on Ebay, which I thought looked pretty cool.
No weird games involving chocolate-smeared diapers or anything!

I love baby showers! Well really showers of any kind! At my baby shower we played a game where everyone had to cut a piece of string of their guess of how round I was! It was pretty funny! :D
